One night Ella came to me crying. Her mouth was hurting and she couldn't sleep. The image of her in the pink is of her just after she got back from the dentist. You can see how puffy her cheek is. One of her fillings had cracked and gotten infected. She had to wait for the infection to go down before they would pull her abscess tooth. Then at her next visit, they couldn't get her tooth out, and she had to make another appointment with a specialist. Anyway it was super painful. I thought she would be anxious to hand the offending tooth over to the fairy, but she is not ready to part with it. Ella told me that she was going to take her tooth to school tomorrow to show her friends.
